Private Locations #1
Besides the virtually limitless number of outdoor natural settings for weddings, there are many private facilities that are ideal for holding a Hawaii wedding. Pictured here is the Westin Moana Surfrider Hotel, the oldest and most historic hotel in Waikiki. It has a number of indoor and outdoor amenities for conducting wedding ceremonies, as well as facilities for hosting receptions. Considering the relative little need for arranging transportation when booking your your event at a Waikiki hotel, the convenience and comfort may well be worth looking into. Beach Wedding Location Tour #3
This park is somewhat secluded but yet very much accessible from Waikiki. I have performed weddings here and it was very ideal for our purposes. The big catch is that there is no adjacent parking. This means that you will have to walk at least 2 or 3 minutes from the nearest parking. This is essentially located at the base of Diamond Head.

Oahu Park Tour #1
Rather than only inform you of Hawaii beach wedding location sites, I have decided to include every option that I can possibly come up with. For our purposes I have labeled this series "Park Tours."
Although any outside public venue is limited in its' ability to provide exclusive privacy, there are some that are both intimate and convenient. Today's entry is just such a place. The following video clip is of Kapiolani Park. It is adjacent to Waikiki and is very spacious.
You can reserve a particular area of the park to conduct your ceremony and expect to a fair amount of privacy for you and your guests. One caveat, weekends and holidays probably won't hold true to this claim, so plan accordingly. Contact me with questions regarding permitting.

Beach Wedding Location Tour #2
Just a quick, and not so different variation of the previous post of beach spots on Oahu. The particular angle in this video is basically the reverse perspective of the first beach posting.
As previously mentioned, the central Waikiki area is not ideal for weddings. However, in the very near proximity there are a numbers of spots ideal for small gatherings. My intention is to continue shooting clips of the in town locations, then gradually work my way to the country.
I'll try to also start another series of other potential locations for ceremonies at places other than the beach. For more ideas and information visit www.hookipawedding.com or contact me at info@hookipawedding.com.
